Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
You’ll need:
- Gear Hugger Multipurpose Lubricant
- A soft cloth
- Paper towels or a small towel
Step 2: Clean the Hinges
Before applying lubricant, wipe the hinges down with a damp cloth to remove any dust, soap scum, or residue. If there’s a lot of buildup, use a mild soap and water solution, then dry the hinges thoroughly.
Step 3: Apply the Lubricant
Shake the Gear Hugger Multipurpose Lubricant well. Spray a small amount directly onto the hinges, focusing on any joints or areas that are sticking. If you prefer, you can spray the lubricant onto a cloth first to control the application.
Step 4: Move the Door
After applying the lubricant, gently open and close the shower door a few times. This will help the lubricant penetrate the hinges and coat any areas that need extra protection.
Step 5: Wipe Away Excess
Use a clean paper towel or soft cloth to wipe away any excess lubricant, ensuring it doesn’t drip onto the shower floor or glass.
